Function:

The Australian Commission for Law Enforcement Integrity (ACLEI) commenced on 30 December 2006 under the Law Enforcement Integrity Commissioner Act 2006. The role of the Integrity Commissioner, who is supported by ACLEI, is to detect, investigate and prevent corruption in the Australian Crime Commission, the Australian Federal Police and the former National Crime Authority.
